Research Intern
Liana is a sophomore at Hunter College, New York, NY and joined Ersoy Lab in 2019. She is interested in metabolism and its intricacies. By taking part in research activities in Ersoy Lab, Liana furthers her knowledge base and satisfies the research curriculum that is required to complete a Baccalaureate of Art degree in biological sciences. She is passionate about medicine as well as serving her community. She is an ambassador in Hunter College’s pre-health department where she aids incoming students with the pursuit of matriculating into graduate schools. In her free time, Liana loves to stay active and trade stories of travels with her lab mates.
