Research Technician I
A founding member of Ersoy Lab, Jixuan co-initiated our efforts after having completed her Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from New York University (NYU) in 2016. Jixuan is a jack of all trades and a master of most too. She has developed and established a plethora of techniques and methodologies in Ersoy Lab including adenovirus amplification, recombinant protein purification, exosome fractionation and miRNA sequencing to cite a few. After establishing her technical expertise, Jixuan also became the lead scientist on a project where she aims to elucidate the role of Y box-binding protein 1 (Ybx1) in cell metabolism. Jixuan enjoys music, playing piano and yummy food.
